My work sits at the production end of localization: the step after translation, where the text has to go back into the layout without breaking it. Flat PDFs, scans and legacy files rebuilt from scratch into editable, translation-ready InDesign or Word documents. Post-translation layout with copyfitting, text-expansion handling, language-specific hyphenation and justification, font fallback and encoding checks, and a final visual QA against the source. Long-form technical documentation is where most of my volume is: operator and maintenance manuals, spare-part catalogues and data sheets of 100+ pages, produced in several language editions from a single master, with automatic figure numbering and cross-references. Arabic and other right-to-left layouts I deliver in Microsoft Word, including fully mirrored table structures with bidirectional Latin part numbers inside RTL text. For InDesign I work in Latin, Cyrillic and CJK. Source files are always delivered alongside the PDF, and files come back matching your naming convention and folder structure. NDAs are standard on my side.
