Privacy Policy

Account data: your email address and a hashed password, stored by Supabase when you create an account.

Profile data: the professional information you choose to add to your profile: display name, bio, specializations, tools, languages, and so on. This is the data you enter intentionally. Only approved profiles are shown publicly.

Legal name: collected at signup for verification purposes. Stored separately and never shown publicly.

Anonymous usage data: Plausible Analytics collects aggregate statistics (page views, referrers, country-level geography). No cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking. This data cannot be linked back to you.

We use your data only to operate the platform:

• To create and manage your account and profile
• To send transactional emails: account confirmation, approval notification, password reset
• To display your profile in the public directory (only after manual approval)
• To understand aggregate site usage and improve the platform

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond operating LPN.

Supabase (supabase.com): database and authentication. Your account and profile data is stored on Supabase servers in the EU (Ireland, AWS eu-west-1). Supabase is GDPR-compliant and a data processing agreement is in place.

Resend (resend.com): transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to send emails you've requested (confirmation, reset, approval). Resend does not use your data for marketing.

Plausible Analytics (plausible.io): privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics. Plausible does not collect personal data and is fully GDPR-compliant. No cookie consent banner is required.

Vercel (vercel.com): hosting. Vercel may process request metadata (IP addresses) as part of serving the site. Standard CDN and edge network usage.

All personal data (account and profile data) is stored in the EU. Supabase uses AWS eu-west-1 (Ireland). Vercel's edge network is global but application data remains in EU.

LPN sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking technology. The Plausible Analytics tool we use is completely cookie-free and does not track individuals across sites or sessions. No consent banner is required.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile data at any time from your dashboard.

To request full deletion of your account and data, or to exercise any other data rights, email contact@lpn.network. We will respond within 30 days.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If your account is deleted, your data is removed from the database. Aggregate analytics data (which contains no personal information) is retained indefinitely.
