About
I am Miles Guo, a China-based freelance DTP and artwork production specialist with 5+ years of DTP/localization experience. I use Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. I prepare editable PSD text, place client-approved translations, fit long copy and tables, and adapt existing artwork across agreed sizes. I check visual completeness, spacing, alignment, clipping and overflow. Translation and linguistic proofreading remain with the client's language team. My portfolio contains self-initiated multilingual before-and-after demonstrations, not paid client commissions. I work remotely from China (UTC+8). Mandarin is my native language. My English is Basic; I use translation software for written communication. Written briefs and annotated feedback work best. English voice calls are not suitable. My reference rate is US$15/hour. Fixed quotes and schedules are agreed after reviewing source files, approved copy, target languages, page counts/sizes, deliverables and deadlines. I welcome a small, clearly scoped paid pilot.
